AGS began in 2022 with a single meal cooked for a neighbour. Today we serve in Tanzania communities — and we're just getting started.
A journey that began with one meal
In 2022, a small group of passionate community workers in Dar es Salaam saw the same reality repeated across Tanzania: children going to school hungry, elders left without care, and families with nowhere to turn. Goodwill alone wasn't enough — organised action was needed.
Admire Gifting with Safari's was founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, nourishment, and support — regardless of age, background, or circumstance. We serve the groups most often overlooked: schoolchildren, elders, people with disabilities, and families in crisis.
Today, we operate in 37 communities across Tanzania — with 47 dedicated field staff, 0% of donor funds leaving the country as overhead, and a growing network of monthly givers who make it all possible.

Founded in Dar es Salaam
A team of five community workers and educators registered AGS and served the first 200 meals in Kariakoo. The core principle: every person in need deserves dignity, nourishment, and care.
School nutrition programme launched
AGS expanded beyond emergency meals into structured school feeding, enrolling the first 400 children in three primary schools across Dar es Salaam and Dodoma regions.
100 meals milestone & elder care launch
During a difficult dry season, AGS reached its ten-thousandth meal milestone and launched the Home Care & Company programme for isolated elders in the Dar es Salaam region.

Operating across Northern, Central, and Coastal zones with 47 permanent field staff and 1,240 monthly donors — serving children, elders, people with disabilities, and families in crisis.

The land is borrowed from our children. We protect Tanzania's ecosystems with the same care we give to its people, knowing both depend on the other.
